Miscellaneous materials for the STUFF show at MOCAD. Basically the idea was to make the materials look like inventory lists because the show included a lot of items from the collection of Burt Aaron, one of the museum's board members. We didn't know how the show would be hung until after the materials had to go to print, so we put together a document listing all the works, by artist, in alphabetical order. We assigned each piece a number and then ordered asset tags, the kind used for keeping track of inventory, and placed them next to the works. That system turned out to be enormously confusing, so after the show was up the museum staff made their own labels and posted them on the wall next to the work. It's kind of too bad, because I liked the asset tags, but I can see how it would have been confusing to match up the numbers to the titles of the work in the flyer. There was also a program list (pictured bottom left). Thanks to Jeff Karolski for the vinyl installation and picture of the garage door (top left). (2007)
