I worked with Tan Lin on a Flash animation of his text for a performance called Disco Eats Itself. It was part of an Experimental Text festival at Richard Foreman's Ontological Theater organized by Sally Oswald and Jennifer Tsuei. We had two kind of ramshackle screens set up with a projection of the text on one side and a projection of google videos on the right, and three actors (Sarah Dahlen, Darius Mannino, and Helena Zhang) reciting text from a booth off stage. Tan Lin was the director. Overall it was a very stressful but rewarding exercise. I didn't manage to get such great photos. The project is posted here. (2007)
